Yep. That’s how old I am today. I am so grateful for 35 years on this planet. Life is great and terrible and mundane and extraordinary. How lucky are we to be given the chance to live on this beautiful rock hurtling through the universe?! I’d say pretty darn lucky.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about awe. Lee Ann Womack says it best in her song, I Hope You Dance, “I hope you never lose your sense of wonder.” How often are you struck by a sense of awe? Do you notice the sunrises and sunsets? Do you find fireflies a little magical? Do you ever admire the innocent way children examine their world? The world is full of little miracles if you take the time to look and listen.
